Madonna And Sean Penn Are Not Getting Back Together
Madonna and Sean Penn are not getting back together, despite a report that was reported by an extremely popular U.S. tabloid. It’s yet another example of a story produced (with no reliable sources) that has gone viral. Many of the sources repeating the rumor have done no fact checking whatsoever. Fortunately, Gossip Cop has.
“Madonna and Sean Penn are not getting back together, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it is not true.”
In fact, Gossip Cop has even confirmed the story is false with Madonna’s PR rep. According to the supermarket tabloid, Madonna’s son, Rocco, has persuaded her to reunite with Penn after he split with Charlize Theron. The tabloid has Rocco supposedly calling up Sean Penn within a day of the actor’s split with Theron. The tabloid also claims that Madonna and Penn are planning a vacation together.
The truth: Madonna is too busy preparing for her Rebel Heart Tour, which begins September 9 in Montreal. She has posted several pictures on Instagram as she prepares for what appears to be another mega-successful tour. Last week, tickets for Madonna’s first show in the Philippines went on sale. Despite ticket prices averaging $500 or more, the Rebel Heart Tour sold enough tickets for a second show to be added. Rappler reported the news on an additional show.
“Filipino fans of Madonna will have not one but two chances to see her perform live in Manila. A second date has been added to the Manila leg of her world tour. On Instagram, Music Management International (MMILive) announced that due to demand, Madonna will hold a second day of her concert on February 25 at the Mall of Asia Arena.”
Strong Asian ticket sales follows the shockingly good ticket sales in Australia and New Zealand. As Forbes reported, all the cheaper tickets for Madonna’s Australian and New Zealand tour sold out the instant they went on sale. The only seats remaining in bulk are the $500-and-up seats. It has been reported that Madonna’s Australian and New Zealand dates are 90 percent sold out, even though the shows are seven months away.
Madonna is selling well in North America, as well. Due to strong demand, two more dates were added in New York City, while secondary shows were added in Southern California, Miami, Toronto, Puerto Rico, and other cities. Madonna will obviously be spending time thrilling audiences rather than vacationing with Sean Penn.
