Applegate, Pitt WWHL ‘Plead The Fifth’ Goes Viral: Christina Rejected Both Brad Pitt & ‘Legally Blonde’ [Video]

Christina Applegate dished on Brad Pitt during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live (WWHL). Applegate confessed intimate details of her personal relationships, including Pitt, while chatting with WWHL host Andy Cohen, reported Us Weekly.

Answering questions posed during Cohen’s infamous, but always funny, “Plead the Fifth” feature, Applegate shared even more TMI than her fans might suspect of an actress who starred in a film called Sweetest Thing.

“[Have you ever gone] swimming in the lady pool?” asked Cohen.

“That means gone lesbian for a moment?” clarified Applegate. “No, that’s not my cup of lady pond.”

Pitt then came into the WWHL Plead the Fifth discussion after modest Christina had already pleaded the fifth when Andy asked her to name which of her male co-stars had the largest bulge.

“I have to plead the fifth on that one,” said Applegate.

“There was much talk of a date with Brad Pitt to the MTV Movie Awards in 1989,” said the WWHL host.

Andy noted that he had read that Applegate dumped Pitt, using that information to fire another WWHL Plead the Fifth question.

“You ditched him for another guy?” demanded Cohen. “The question is, who was the guy you ditched Brad Pitt for?”

Applegate tried to evade the question about Pitt.

“How many fifths do I get?” she asked the WWHL host.

“You had your fifth,” insisted Cohen.

Andy continued to try to pressure Christina to answer, but she was stubborn.

“Do I have to say it?” she questioned right back. “I don’t have to do nothing!”

“Was he an actor?” Andy tried another tactic.

Applegate responded with a negative, leaving Pitt’s replacement an unanswered WWHL question forever.

But Christina was more talkative about something she does regret. While Applegate apparently doesn’t rue ditching Pitt, judging by her WWHL evasion, she does regret rejecting the rule of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, reported Entertainment Tonight.

Currently promoting her new film Vacation, Applegate recalled getting the script.

“The script came along my way and it was right after I had just finished, Married […with Children], and it was a blonde who in that first script didn’t win it but ends up going to Yale, or Harvard, I don’t remember,” said Christina. “I got scared of kind of repeating myself. What a stupid move that was, right?”

As the Inquisitr reported, Applegate worked with Chris Hemsworth on Vacation.

“We had all been standing at the bottom of the stairs after he had been doing some fittings upstairs; like should it get into position to go to the left or go to the right, longer, shorter… He came down and we were all clapping,” shared Applegate.
