Jill Duggar And Derick Dillard Update Fans On Mission Trip, Share Baby Israel Video And Family Photos

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have finally decided to give fans an update on what they’ve been up to during their mission trip to Central America. A picture is worth a thousand words, so the couple’s update includes a large photo dump and one video.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jill and Derick have never revealed their exact location in Central America, and the former 19 Kids and Counting stars have shared very few updates with their fans since leaving on their long-term mission trip. It seems as though Jill and Derick noticed that their fans were thirsty for a photo update, so they posted a large collection of pics on the Dillard Family website. They also shared the video below that shows baby Israel going for a ride at a hotel.

Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard might be staying at a hotel because their mission trip is over and they’re headed back home. There’s been speculation that the couple flew off to Central America with S.O.S. Ministries, an organization that the Duggar family has worked with numerous times. Jill and Derick left home early in July, and the S.O.S. Facebook page says that its July Central America trip was only supposed to last a month.

In its official 19 Kids and Counting cancellation statement, TLC revealed that Jessa and Jill Duggar are going to take part in a documentary about sexual molestation. It’s expected to air sometime this summer, so TLC likely knew that Jill’s long-term mission trip was only going to last a few weeks and that she would be back in time to film her segment. It’s also possible that Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard finally had time to share the photos below because they’re finished with their mission work.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, there was some speculation that Jill and Derick would spend most of their trip — and their donors’ money — trying to convert locals. However, it looks like their mission group actually did a little hard labor by constructing a brick building (there’s no word on what the building is). The photos above also provide evidence that Derick and Jill weren’t lying when they said that the locals fell in love with their “big blue-eyed, white baby.”
