Caitlyn Jenner Doesn’t Rule Out Dating Candis Cayne In The Future

Is Caitlyn Jenner dating I Am Cait co-star Candis Cayne? Some speculate that there may be more to the relationship than just being friends, while others claim Candis Cayne is just playing the role of mentor. Caitlyn Jenner addresses that very subject in Episode 2 of I Am Cait.

Much has been made of the Cait and Candis connection, as they have frequently been seen together in public. They travelled together as part of a group of transgender women who went on a road trip across California to help educate the public and raise awareness of transgender issues. They were also seen together at a Boy George concert and were recently seen dining together in Los Angeles at the hot spot Beso, according to HollywoodLife.

While on the road trip, even members of Jenner’s entourage noticed her obvious attraction to Cayne.

“She has no idea we’re here because Candis is here!” said Jenner’s hair stylist Courtney, according to Radar Online.

Candis Cayne was also one of a select few that was invited to attend the ESPY afterparty to celebrate Caitlyn Jenner receiving the Arthur Ashe award.

But how likely is it that Caitlyn Jenner is dating Candis Cayne? After all, in her interview with Diane Sawyer, she essentially said that dating was last on her list of priorities as she transitioned.

Candis Cayne, the first transgender actress to have a recurring primetime television role, was brought onto I am Cait along with others, to show Jenner’s introduction and immersion in the transgender community. Cayne, having transitioned from male to female years ago, is a valuable resource for Jenner. But unlike Jenner, Cayne chose to undergo complete gender reassignment surgery, according to the New York Times. With so much transgender life experience, if nothing else, she has proven to be a significant mentor and friend to Jenner through her journey.

But one can’t help but see that there may be more to the relationship, at least on Jenner’s part, and those close to Caitlyn are curious if she has romantic feelings for Cayne, who is 22 years her junior.

Caitlyn Jenner’s assistant Ronda Kamihira and her girls asked Jenner about her feelings for Cayne.

“She is a very attractive lady,” said Jenner in a clip from I Am Cait.

And when Ronda’s girls continue with questions, as they are clearly dissatisfied with her initial response, Caitlyn comments directly to the at-home audience.

“These girls won’t give up!” said Jenner. “Candis is a beautiful woman. But as far as dating in the future, I have absolutely no idea!”
