Kim Richards’ Ex-Husband Monty Posts Grim Message On Instagram As He Continues To Battle Cancer

Kim Richards’ ailing ex-husband, Monty Brinson, continues to interact with fans, despite recently being given just weeks to live. Although doctors claim Brinson’s cancer will soon take his life, he is determined to make the most of his final days with friends and family.

On August 1, Brinson shared the following message on Instagram.

“To my loved ones, my ex’s, children, the girls I dated in my past whether it was for a short period or longer, or people that I have only met briefly and the friends that I’ve never met but communicated with I have a quote for. When you look back on me I hope it puts a smile on your face. Each of you have put a smile on my face this life time thank you #heart #friends #smile #laughter #love #family #heart #thankful #loved.”

Kim Richards’ ex-husband has been seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and discussed heavily in the press after he gave the reality star, and struggling addict, a Vicodin during filming on the Bravo reality show’s fourth season. At the time, Richards and Brinson were living together, and after seeing Richards in intense pain, Brinson gave her a Vicodin, not thinking about how the medication might impact her sobriety.

During the episode in which Kim Richards was on the Vicodin, she was seen acting completely loopy and out of it as friend Brandi Glanville, who appeared drunk, was at her side. The two women caused quite a stir during the episode, which was filmed at Eileen Davidson’s home, and eventually, a fight between Glanville and Richards’ younger sister, Kyle, broke out.

Months later, Kim Richards relapsed and was arrested weeks later after becoming highly intoxicated at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Since then, Richards has reportedly been fired from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but, as the Inquisitr previously reported, she’s hoping to be re-hired.

Last month, a source revealed the following to Radar Online.

“[Kim Richards] has been begging the producers to give her the job back. She has been super annoying and will not take no for an answer. She’s been hounding producers and even showed up at the offices to try and beg! Kim cannot stand that the mistakes she made are having such consequences and she hates being irrelevant.”

Unfortunately, however, “there are no plans to allow [Kim Richards] back on the show,” the source noted. “No one believes she was sober all along now and everyone feels completely duped. The fact that she lied about her addiction issues was just the icing on the cake from all the drama that surrounded her dog Kingsley.”
