Dorinda Medley Honored To Bond With Carole Radziwill Over Husbands’ Deaths On ‘RHONY’

Dorinda Medley was new to The Real Housewives of New York City during Season 7, but luckily, she hit it off with most of her co-stars. In addition to being a longtime friend of cast member Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley struck up a friendship with Carole Radziwill after bonding over the losses of their husbands.

On August 3, Reality Tea reported on Dorinda Medley’s latest blog, in which she spoke of her and Radziwill’s newfound friendship, and claimed she was honored to be a shoulder to lean on for her Bravo co-star, who had just received the ashes of her late husband.

“I was anxious while she was visiting the church, and as I was waiting for her return… I didn’t even think of wandering far from the hotel, in case she returned and was a bit shaken. When I saw her, she seemed drained but relieved. Like she’d had a good, cleansing cry and a warm hug from an old friend. It got me a little welled up, because I know that feeling.”

Prior to dating her boyfriend, John, Dorinda Medley was married to a man named Richard, the father of her daughter, who tragically died just years ago.

“There are three things that bring people very close: new babies, a jar of bleu cheese olives, and the deaths of loved ones. The latter thread, clearly, was the common thread that has bonded us, unexpectedly, in the most beautiful way. Watching it play out while you all reacted on Twitter was making me smile, making me cry, making me entirely and completely happy and proud.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Dorinda Medley is hoping to return to The Real Housewives of New York City for Season 8. According to an interview with OK! Magazine last month, Dorinda Medley claimed the show came at a good time, and took her out of the “rut” she was in after her husband’s passing.

On the show, Dorinda Medley’s boyfriend, John, caused quite a stir, and raised a few questions from the other women. However, despite his sometimes-shady behavior, his relationship with Dorinda Medley is still going strong. Meanwhile, Radziwill’s relationship with the much-younger Adam was also a hot topic throughout Season 7.
