‘The Bachelor’ 2016 Revealed During ‘BIP 2’: ABC’s Next Leading Man May Surprise You
Are you ready to find out who The Bachelor 2016 is? Fans who tune in to watch ABC’s summer reality show, Bachelor in Paradise, on Sunday night are in for a big surprise. The next guy to hand out roses will be revealed during the BIP 2 season premiere, but you will have to play close attention to the show.
Ben Higgins? Nick Viall? Ben Zorn? Jared Haibon? Who is the next Bachelor?
On Saturday, Fleiss sent out a tweet about the big reveal, stating that there would be “a clue” about the identity of the next Bachelor during the BIP 2 premiere. Since he wasn’t revealed on last week’s After the Final Rose special, there has been speculation that the network would introduce him in late August or early September, around the time of the Paradise finale.
Update: Was the word ‘closure’ a hint during Bachelor in Paradise?
Now, it looks like viewers will get a hint of some sort about who the guy is on Sunday night. Weeks ago, it seemed certain that Ben H. would be picked, but it’s not 100 percent certain that he’s the guy. While we wait for the premiere, which starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET, let’s break down the most obvious candidates and try to figure what Fleiss’ clue means — if anything.
Ben Higgins: Most of Bachelor Nation seems to be rooting for the 26-year-old Colorado business analyst. When Kaitlyn sent him home after the overnight dates, E! Online immediately ran a story that confirmed Higgins had been “chosen as the next Bachelor.” He quickly denied that he had signed a contract, telling Entertainment Tonight that the rumors were false — but producers may be telling him what to say until they are ready to reveal their choice.
Nick Viall: Although there were many fans who were totally against the idea of Nick ever showing up on any of the franchise’s shows ever again, things seemed to change after Kaitlyn Bristowe waited to dump him when he started to propose to her. Although he wasn’t a fan favorite during her season, he earned plenty of respect when he didn’t bad-mouth her at or after the final rose ceremony. When Kaitlyn and Shawn started bashing Nick during their media tour last week, the #NickforBachelor tweets came out in full force.
Can we start an official #NickforBachelor campaign @chrisbharrison? He deserves a real chance to find love! @Bachelor_Nation #TheBachelor

Ben Zorn: While the hunky personal trainer got plenty of cheers at the Men Tell All, and Chris Harrison has hinted that there could be “two Bens” on the next season of the Bachelor, blogger Reality Steve doesn’t think that he’s the one. The ladies love him, there is no doubt about that, but is he just too nice to be the guy who ditches girls week after week? More importantly, is he ready to cry? Because that does seem to happen to every Bachelor and Bachelorette, no matter how hard they try not to.
Jared Haibon: He’s apparently still in “Linger” mode over Kaitlyn Bristowe, and spoilers indicate he may not fare well on Bachelor in Paradise. However, he is on the show, so is he the big clue Fleiss is talking about? He does have fan support, but definitely not as much as Ben H. and Nick Viall, with Ben Z. pulling in at a close third.
Tune in to watch Bachelor in Paradise tonight at 8 p.m. to see if you can figure out the clue Fleiss tweeted about. Who do you think the next Bachelor will be?
