WWE Rumors: Five Shocking And Two Not-So-Shocking Possible Endings For Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar At ‘SummerSlam’
Only one match is confirmed and in place for WWE SummerSlam, and that is the unexpected bout between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker. Fans are wondering how this match could go because it came out of nowhere. Lots of rumors are flying around, and there are a number of ways for the match to go. Here are five shocking and two not-so-shocking possible endings.
Even though it became rumored and known about a week before Battleground, no one had any idea that The Undertaker would come back before then. His return set up the revenge match with Lesnar, and it’s going to be interesting to see if any of these come true in three weeks.
1. The Undertaker turns heel and sides with The Authority
It may be far too late in the career of The Undertaker to have a heel turn, and fans are going to cheer him no matter what, anyway. Lesnar was allowed back by The Authority, but then they sided again with Seth Rollins without even much explanation. This one seems far-fetched, but anyone remember the Corporate Ministry?
2. Kevin Owens interferes to be the one to take out Brock Lesnar
This feud may be a bit early in the making, but it would certainly be fun to see. Kevin Owens was recently quoted as saying that he would “love to be the one to put an end to him (Lesnar).” There could be no better way to anger the “Beast Incarnate” than to make him lose to The Undertaker.
Why would anyone want to anger Brock Lesnar?
3. Sting interferes to set up feud with The Undertaker
The icon known as Sting has reportedly been taken out of the six-man tag match, and now his status for SummerSlam is unknown. Sting showing up in three weeks could set up a long-awaited match between he and Undertaker that could take place at Survivor Series or be set up for WrestleMania 32.
Hey, the WWE editors even admit to wanting to see that match. WrestleZone reports that Undertaker will be around for a WWE tour after SummerSlam so anything is possible since he is sticking around a while.
4. Paul Heyman turns on Brock Lesnar to cost him the match
This is another scenario that is kind of out there, and there is really no reason to separate Heyman and Lesnar. Paul Heyman siding with Undertaker doesn’t make much sense, but it would be shocking to see the mouth turn on the power.
5. Kane returns as the “Big Red Machine” to go after Lesnar
A few weeks ago, Brock Lesnar started the main event of a Monday Night Raw by destroying Kane and breaking his ankle. Minutes later, Seth Rollins degraded Kane and beat him down too. A face turn by Kane and him returning as the “monster” to side with his brother and take out Lesnar makes sense.
There are five shocking and possible endings to the SummerSlam match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, but what if nothing extravagant happens? Well, if that’s to be the case, then here are two more endings that could happen, but aren’t as over the top.
6. The Undertaker pins Brock Lesnar clean for his revenge victory
It’s extremely possible that The Undertaker could exact his revenge and get back his victory over Lesnar, who put an end to “The Streak” at WrestleMania XXX. Some aren’t sure that Lesnar should lose a match at all, but there’s no shame in losing to a legend such as Taker.
7. Brock Lesnar pins The Undertaker clean
Seeing Lesnar come out, fight a tough battle against Undertaker, and then put him down for the 1-2-3 again isn’t out of the question. It’s extremely possible that Lesnar could just beat him clean once again and shock the world.
WWE SummerSlam is currently being built around Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker, and it will most likely be the main event on the card. That’s not surprising considering the magnitude of the players involved and what the match represents, but how will it end?
