Seungri Saves Fellow ‘Big Bang’ Members Daesung And T.O.P. From Fireworks Explosion, Preventing Disaster [Video]

Presently, Big Bang is enjoying a sudden spike in popularity ever since they made their comeback earlier this year. With their newest album, M.A.D.E., they’ve dominated many music charts both locally in their home country of Korea and internationally. This is especially true when their song “Bang Bang Bang” made it on the iTunes U.S. Top 100. Of course, this popularity comes with sudden fame for each member of Big Bang, in which the K-pop community has taken an interest in G-Dragon’s alleged relationship with Japanese actress Kiko Mizuhara.

The aforementioned news has been earned by Big Bang polishing their craft and sticking it through for the last 15 years. However, we must thank specific group member Seungri for saving the day because if it weren’t for him, Big Bang might have tragically hurt two of its members. Because of him, both Daesung and T.O.P. avoided a disaster from fireworks explosion.

The save happened during a live performance in Malaysia on July 24 and 25 of 2015 as part of their MADE Series Tour. During the second show, Seungri quickly pulled both Daesung and T.O.P. back from the front of the stage while they were performing “Fantastic Baby.” This was very good because seconds later, the pyrotechnics triggered a massive fireworks display where they were standing. Twitter user Vannyluvdae posted a fan video of the save, which is attached below.

Many have expressed their gratitude for Seungri’s quick response in the comments of the video. It is plausible that if just one of the two Big Bang members were hurt, the MADE Series Tour would have been affected. As a worse case scenario, it probably would have ended both the show they were currently doing as well as the tour. But because of Seungri, he along with the rest of Big Bang can continue to entertain their fans.

And just so you know, Daesung thanked Seungri right after the save. Though he was confused why he was being pulled back initially, he (along with T.O.P.) understood after the fireworks exploded. Ergo, he gave a thumbs up to Seungri after the danger was averted, as reported by KpopStarz.
