Leolah Brown, Pat Houston Feud Over Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Funeral Invitation Seeking Funds: ‘Sweet 16’ Funeral Details

Leolah Brown and Pat Houston are having a very public battle even as the funeral is planned for Bobbi Kristina, daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, dead at the age of 22. Bobbi Kristina passed away in hospice on Sunday, where she had been taken after spending the months since January 31 in hospitals, which is when she was found unconscious, face-down in a bathtub in her home.

But now Leolah, who is Brown’s aunt, has launched an attack on Pat. Houston, who is Whitney’s sister-in-law, is being accused by Leolah of exploiting Bobbi Kristina‘s name for personal profit, reported The Wrap.

Brown’s allegations that Pat wants to make money from Bobbi Kristina’s death result from Houston’s request that donations be sent to Pat’s foundation in memory of Whitney’s deceased daughter.

Leolah used Facebook to slam Pat.

“The Brown family has just learned that Marion Patricia Houston, AKA: Pat Houston, is asking for the public to send money to her foundation (The Marion P Foundation) on behalf of my niece Bobbi Kristina,” posted Leolah. “She has not even sat down & spoken to my brother Bobby, who is Bobbi Kristina’s father, about this.”

Brown termed Pat’s foundation as “evil.” Houston’s organization should be scrutinized, according to Leolah’s post.

“PLEASE keep your money in your pockets and give absolutely NOTHING to the Marion P foundation. Unless you don’t mind supporting such an evil and dirty foundation. Lastly, keep your eyes & ears open as THE TRUTH is being revealed! God is in control today…there is evidence of serious issues with [the foundation].”

In addition, the Saturday funeral invitation seeks Pat Houston foundation donations rather than flowers, reported TMZ.

Those on the funeral invitation list must show official identification in order to be admitted. But that’s not what has Leolah so angry. Brown is upset by the invitation’s request for money for Pat’s Marion P. Foundation. Houston’s charity is designed for teens who need help, but Leolah is suspicious of where the money really goes.

As the Inquisitr reported, Bobbi Kristina’s funeral and fortune both have become battlegrounds for dissent, not just between Brown and Pat, but many of Whitney Houston’s and Bobby Brown’s relatives.

And it’s not just family members who are bickering, nor is it only Leolah Brown who is criticizing Pat.

Also dissenting with Houston’s funeral plans for Bobbi Kristina is Dionne Warwick, reported Inside Edition.

Dionne may boycott because she is upset that Pat has planned a Sweet 16 theme for Bobbi Kristina’s funeral, reportedly because she was deprived of a Sweet 16 birthday party. Warwick is Whitney’s cousin, and it was Dionne who arranged Houston’s funeral.

But even as bickering among family and friends occurs, most are uniting to mourn and honor Bobbi Kristina’s memory, beginning with a wake, reported People.

Cissy Houston and Bobby Brown both mourned, as did her aunts Tina and Leolah. The funeral service will be held at the Saint James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Then, on Monday, Bobbi Kristina’s burial will take place in New Jersey, where she will be laid to rest next to mom Whitney.
