Casper Smart To Choreograph New Jennifer Lopez Tour

Casper Smart used to be one of Jennifer Lopez’s backup dancers. But now, in addition to dating the megastar, he is running the whole show. Lopez announced today that Smart would be the supervising choreographer for her new tour.

Lopez said:

“I’m working with Jamie King, also Beau ‘Casper’ Smart is my new choreographer. Beau [Casper Smart] is helping… He’s supervising choreographer and we’re just working together to make the best show that we can make.”

The International Business Times reports that Smart has appeared in several of Lopez’s videos and has danced with her on tour, but this will be the first time that he has some creative control over Lopez.

Being Lopez’s boyfriend probably has something to do with Casper Smart’s new position, but he’s also pretty qualified for the job. Smart has worked with Eminem, Beyonce, and on TV shows like “So You Think You Can Dance” and “America’s Best Dance Crew.”

Lopez will start her Summer tour on July 14th with a show in Montreal. Lopez will be joining Enrique Iglesias and Winsin Y Yandel for 20 shows this Summer.
