Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill Call It Quits? [Rumor]
It seems as if Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill may have broken up — shortly after Meek Mill compared himself and Nicki to Jay Z and Beyoncé.
Though the split has not yet been confirmed by the couple, MediaTakeOut.com reported that Minaj broke up with Meek on Thursday night. The website asks: Could the breakup have anything to do with Meek Mill’s beef with Drake? MediaTakeOut.com writes:
“According to one of Nicki’s best friends, ‘It’s complicated. I think they took their relationship too far, too fast.’ Nicki’s homie refused to say whether the Drake war had anything to do with it.”
The writer for MediaTakeOut.com goes on to say that the Twitter feud with Drake probably did impact Nicki Minaj’s decision to dump Meek Mill. On July 21, Meek called Drake’s rhyme-writing abilities into question, saying that Drake has others ghostwrite his songs for him.
Stop comparing drake to me too…. He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out! ?

In the days since Meek Mill began the beef with Drake on Twitter, Drake has released two diss tracks directed at Meek. The first, “Charged Up,” was released Saturday, while the second song, called “Back to Back,” was released Wednesday.
In “Back to Back,” Drake takes a shot at Meek’s relationship with Nicki Minaj, rapping:
“I know that you gotta be a thug for her/this ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more.”
In the same song, Drake added another insult about Meek’s relationship with Nicki:
“You love her then you gotta give the world to her/Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?”
The second example references the fact that Meek Mill has been opening for Nicki Minaj on her current world tour. According to MediaTakeOut.com, Meek will continue to open for Nicki despite the split.

Drake’s Meek Mill released his own diss track in response to Drake’s diss track, and most believe Drake won this battle.

If the beef with Drake did cause the alleged split between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill, we would have to say that we agree.
