Teen Mom 2 Season Six cast member Leah Messer may appear to be on the verge of a major meltdown on the show, but according to her, it could all be one big “misconception.” As the new season of Teen Mom 2 continues to air, Messer took to Twitter, claiming she may have been victimized by a misleading portrayal on the show.
Misconception comes with the territory.

Throughout Teen Mom 2 Season Six, Messer has been seen struggling with her duties as a parent. Although she does not have a job, aside from filming the show, Messer appears to be completely overwhelmed with her three children, including 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah and 2-year-old Adalynn.
During last week’s episode of Teen Mom 2 Season Six, Messer’s unhealthy schedule for her children, who were due in school early the next morning, was revealed. On the show, MTV highlighted the times Messer got home, fed her kids, and put them in bed, and after a dinner, which took place after 11 p.m., the children did not get into bed until midnight, certainly much later than 5-year-old girls should.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, things don’t get much better for Messer on tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2 Season Six. In a sneak peek of the new episode, shared by Starcasm earlier this week, Messer met with Corey Simms, father of her twins, who has grown frustrated with her inability to get her children to school on time, and make them breakfast in the morning.
“If I have them for that extra little bit, that’s an extra little bit that I don’t have to worry about it. I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, but that’s time that I don’t have to worry: ‘Are they tardy?’ or ‘Are they late?’ Or ‘Are they there, or are they not?’
I was a sick a couple weekends ago and eating toast, and Aleeah’s like, ‘Oh I know how to make a toast.’ I’m like, ‘How the hell do you know how to make a toast? How do you even know how to use a toaster?’ This is what she said. She said, ‘Cause my mommy’s a sleepy head, and I have to make myself breakfast.’ Whenever your child says that, and she can show you how to make toast in a toaster to back up what she said, that’s hard!”
Teen Mom 2 Season Six airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on MTV.
