Britt Nilsson Congratulates Kaitlyn Bristowe On Shawn Booth Engagement, Lovingly Talks About Their Friendship
Britt Nilsson is genuinely happy for Kaitlyn Bristowe. After Monday night’s finale of The Bachelorette aired, revealing that Kaitlyn chose Shawn Booth over Nick Viall and is now engaged to Shawn, Britt posted a congratulatory message to Kaitlyn. Britt also lovingly talked about her friendship with Kaitlyn.
“Congratulations to you, sweet @kaitlynbristowe!!! I’m praying for every blessing in the world to come into your new life! Everything DOES happen for a reason, and tonight is definitely your night, girl! Can’t wait to see you and give you a big hug! You are a treasure and a fighter and a woman I am happy to call my friend, truly beautiful inside and out–congratulations!! ??????”
Britt accompanied her post with a collage of photos of her with Kaitlyn.
Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe, who previously both competed for Chris Soules on The Bachelor, started out on The Bachelorette together. The show’s producers had the men choose, on night one, which woman they wanted to stay on as the Bachelorette. A majority of the men chose Kaitlyn, leaving Britt stunned and in tears.
In May, Britt admitted that she may always be a bit jealous of Kaitlyn but that has no hard feelings towards her.
“I may always be a tiny bit ‘jealous’ (get it? ??) since I’m human?but @kaitlynbristowe is one of the coolest, funniest, most genuine, and awesome women on the planet. We didn’t choose to compete so i don’t hold anything against her! We were in this together, and this was obviously supposed to be her journey right now, so am truly happy for her and want everyone to know how much she deserves it! I have come to know her, to respect her, and enjoy her so much! Cannot wait to watch this season of#thebachelorette. You will be such an epic wife and mom. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Britt, whom some of the other women on Chris’ season thought was not genuine, denied that she was doing The Bachelorette to launch a career in Hollywood.
Although Britt Nilsson lost the Bachelorette gig to Kaitlyn Bristowe, it seemed that Britt was still able to get a happy ending out of the process since one contestant, Brady Toops, left the competition in search of her. The show aired clips of Britt and Brady dating. Unfortunately for their fans, about two weeks ago, Britt and Brady confirmed that they broke up. They revealed that they split after about two months of dating.
