See Kaitlyn Bristowe’s 3.5-Ct Engagement Ring: Biggest In ‘Bachelorette’ History?
Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette comes to an end tonight, and all the drama and controversy will finally pay off. Rumor has it that she’s happy, in love, and will be sporting a 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond engagement ring when she appears on the live After the Final Rose special at 10 p.m. ET.
How much is the stunning ring worth, and is it the biggest engagement ring in Bachelor and Bachelorette history?
Both Shawn Booth and Nick Viall will get down on one knee on tonight’s season finale and they both come bearing a rings that are worth approximately $100,000 each. The ring that she ends up accepting may be one of the most stunning engagement rings revealed at a final rose ceremony since the Bachelor franchise started airing their popular reality shows back in 2002.
The square cut ring is magnificent, and looks almost too big for Bristowe’s petite hands. However, there’s not a girl in the world who would turn down a diamond that looks “too big” — especially if it came along with a promise to marry the guy of your dreams.
Kaitlyn’s ring is a big one, but slightly smaller than Desiree Hartsock’s 3.70-carat beauty, but bigger than the 2.5-carat ring Jef Holm gave to Emily Maynard. WetPaint reveals that while Emily’s ring wasn’t the biggest, it was the most expensive — $150,000.
According to the latest issue of Life & Style, Kaitlyn is already planning a fall wedding to go along with her new guy and gigantic ring, and hopes to say “I do” on national TV. An insider states that the 30-year-old dance instructor wants to get married outside and she won’t be wearing a “princess gown” — she’s hoping to wear something “form-fitting and sexy” that she can dance in.
Bristowe hails from Vancouver, so marrying her final pick would allow her to move to the U.S. and get a green card, something she mentioned that she wanted on a recent Periscope chat with fans. Whether they will move where her final pick lives now, or find a new place to live won’t be known until the couple reveals what’s next during the After the Final Rose special.
However, a move to L.A. may be in the cards for Kaitlyn and her fiancee — rumor has it that she may be part of the Dancing with the Stars Season 21 cast. The show premieres September 14, so rehearsals and the big cast reveal are coming soon.
Do you think Kaitlyn’s massive diamond engagement ring is from Shawn Booth or Nick Viall?
