‘GTA V’ Online Events Continue This Week With More Bonus Heist Rewards And Daily Sales

Rockstar Games has been giving Grand Theft Auto V players a reason to try out the game’s online co-op heist this month. The developer is running a series on special in-game events within GTA Online to increase the rewards for completing the title’s high-stakes robberies. Picking up where last week’s online event ended, the Rockstar Newswire announced on Monday that fans will be treated to another week of special rewards through this weekend.

Going in order of how the online heists become unlocked, Grand Theft Auto V players will receive double awards for taking on the “Series a Funding” heist. Throughout the next week, users will gain twice the normal amount of cash and RP every time they finish the mission.

“Now that you’ve plundered Humane Labs and sprung Rashkovsky from Bolingbroke, it’s time to revisit an old friend and reap double the GTA$ & RP rewards for doing so. Over the next seven days (July 27th – August 2nd), you’ll receive 2X GTA$ and RP for each of the Set-Up Missions and the Finale in the Series A Funding GTA Online Heist.”

Furthermore, players will also gain bonus payouts if they are able to successfully achieve any of the job’s elite challenges. This gives GTA Online users a chance for even more rewards if they can meet several optional mission objectives such as finishing under a certain time without anything dying.

“If you’re already familiar with helping to get TPI’s stake in the lucrative Los Santos narcotics industry off the ground, then now’s the perfect time to take on the Elite Challenges in the Heist Finale for which you’ll also be doubling up the GTA$ rewards.”

In order to help new players reach the minimum rank in order to participate in this week’s GTA V online event, Rockstar Games is also offering double RP for several other in-game activities. This includes all GTA Online gang attacks as well as select missions and deathmatch offerings.

“For those new to GTA Online (or looking to rank up their second characters to the requisite Rank 12), we’re also pumping up the RP bonus on select GTA Online activities. Moreover, these will also help increase your character’s Skills – which should come in handy when undertaking Heists.”

Also continuing from last week, Rockstar Games offers a new discount on specific GTA V items every day. Gamers saw savings on ammunition, vehicle modifications, and more during the previous promotion

While there is only a handful of co-op heists available to play in GTA V, the difficulty of each job increases as players unlock each new mission. As such, fewer players have managed to successfully complete the later heists as they continue to get harder.
