Shia LaBeouf Tries To FaceTime Megan Fox After Drunken Fight With Girlfriend Mia Goth
Shia LaBeouf is making headlines for his erratic behavior after engaging in a heated altercation with longtime girlfriend Mia Goth while in Tübingen, Germany, over the weekend.
The eyebrow-raising clip of the couple’s fight was released by Entertainment Tonight and shows LaBeouf arguing with Goth on the street before locals intervene to break up the duo’s nearly violent fight.
According to People, LaBeouf tells the German locals that Goth is trying to provoke him by hanging on to his belongings in an attempt to prevent him from getting to the airport.
“I don’t want to touch a woman, I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being pushed.”
After the locals agree to drive LaBeouf to the airport, Shia can be seen approaching his girlfriend to retrieve his backpack before telling her that he doesn’t want a physical altercation.
“I don’t wanna touch you. I don’t wanna be aggressive. That is the kind of s*** that makes a person abusive.”
LaBeouf proceeds to get in the car with one of the locals as another continues to film Shia’s alcohol-fueled rant. As LaBeouf attempts to explain himself for arguing with Goth, the actor makes a shocking statement about their nearly violent fight.
“If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her.”
Things get even stranger for LaBeouf as one of the locals films Shia puffing on an e-cigarette before attempting to FaceTime his Transformers co-star Megan Fox.
The cameraman then zooms in on LaBeouf’s phone, showing Fox’s name appearing under the FaceTime app before Shia quickly ends the call.
The video ends with LaBeouf thanking the men for driving him to the airport before offering to host the locals in the event they ever visit Los Angeles.
While it’s unclear what provoked LaBeouf and Goth’s fight, fans have taken to social media to express their concern over Shia’s erratic behavior.
LaBeouf voluntarily sought treatment for alcohol addiction last year after he was handcuffed and escorted out of New York City’s Studio 54 theater for allegedly causing a disturbance during a performance of the Broadway show Cabaret, Us Weekly reports.
Interestingly enough, Megan Fox defended Shia’s strange behavior during an interview with New York Daily News last year, telling the publication that while she hasn’t spoken to her former co-star in years, she isn’t worried about his recent outbursts.
“I’m not worried about Shia. I love my Shia. He’s perfectly fine. I haven’t talked to him in a couple of years, but I don’t worry about him. He’s a brilliant kid, talented and funny. There’s no reason to worry.”
While Fox and LaBeouf may remain on good terms, the duo previously made headlines in 2011 after Shia claimed that he hooked up with Megan while she was on a break from then-boyfriend Brian Austin Green.
“Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them. I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.”
