Kelly Ripa’s Runway Fun: ‘Live’ Co-Host Keeps Fans Hopping With Show Bits, Super Saturday Event

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan do their best to ensure that their fans and audience members never have a dull moment with their show. Though Kelly and Michael keep things lively during the on-air moments of the show, it seems they love to keep things fun during the commercial breaks, as well. A new video posted on the show’s Instagram page shares the latest from the energetic co-hosts.

On Monday, during a Live With Kelly and Michael commercial break, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan decided to do a bit of fake runway walking. Fans of Ripa know that Kelly loves to do her fierce runway walk, and she embraced the opportunity on Monday to do it once again, though only those in the audience got in on the full bit of fun.

The show shared the video of Michael and Kelly strutting their stuff via Instagram for those who weren’t there. It seems that Ripa insists that the key component to a successful runway model walk is to look irritated, and the more irritated the look, the better. While Ripa definitely has her walk down, Strahan isn’t exactly a slouch, either.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Ripa was showcasing some wild hues with some adventurous hair color. She tried out a pink look, and then embraced a bright blue look. Shortly after the blue debuted, Ripa’s hair guru shared an opal look that was much more subdued. Now, it seems, Kelly has gone back to her typical blonde look, at least for now.

Ripa was full of pep during Monday’s show, even though she had quite the eventful weekend. It was time for the annual Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Super Saturday event in New York, a gathering that Kelly co-hosts each year with Donna Karan. The shopping event features high-end brands available for purchase for more than 2,000 attendees, with all of the proceeds going to support the OCRF efforts.

Saturday’s event was the 18th annual sale, and Ripa’s fans know that this is an event that she is quite passionate about. As Radar Online notes, the event was co-sponsored by FIJI water, and attendees included Kelly Rutherford and her children (Hermes and Helena), Brooke Shields, Hilaria, and Alec Baldwin, as well as Rachel Zoe.

What will Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa do to keep their fans and audience members entertained next? There’s no telling when it comes to this Live With Kelly and Michael duo, which is just the way their viewers like it.
