Bobbi Kristina Brown, Whitney Houston Reunited In Heaven

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s tumultuous journey has come to a close. Bobbi Kristina’s short life was filled with much sadness and pain, especially in the past three years after losing her mother, the late, legendary Whitney Houston. At last, Krissi has been reunited with her mom in heaven.

While news about Bobbi Kristina Brown has been mostly negative over the past five months, following the incident that left her unresponsive and fighting for her life in a medically induced coma, it is important to remember that this young woman’s life is not defined by the way in which it ended. Bobbi Kristina absolutely suffered great torment in recent years, and yet, she really was blessed in many ways.

Born into great wealth and privilege, Bobbi Kristina was more importantly blessed to be born into the arms of a woman who desperately wanted her. In a 1993 interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the pop legend speaks lovingly of her little girl.

“Having Bobbi Kristina … I could never do anything that could top that. There’s been nothing more incredible in my life than having her. God knows, I have been in front of millions and millions of people, and that has been incredible, to feel that give-take thing. But, man, when I gave birth to her and when they put her in my arms, I thought: ‘This has got to be it. This is the ultimate.’ I haven’t experienced anything greater.”

The relationship between Bobbi Kristina Brown and her mom was a close one. Whitney brought Bobbi Kristina along with her on tours, and they even shared the stage together.

Bobbi Kristina Brown also enjoyed a close and loving relationship with her grandmother, gospel singer Cissy Houston. The three generations of women were a beautiful trio.

Though Bobby Brown may not have been the greatest or most attentive father in his daughter’s young years, the two were able to make a fresh start, which went a long way to healing the hurts of her childhood. There is no doubt that Brown loves Bobbi Kristina, as he has been by her bedside these past several months, praying for her recovery. Thankfully, the two were able to mend fences and enjoy a closer father/daughter relationship before the tragic incident that ultimately claimed her life.

Bobbi Kristina comes from a family filled with faith in Jesus. While those left behind are understandably grief-stricken, they will hopefully find comfort in the thought that Bobbi Kristina has been reunited with her mother in heaven. Pray that they find peace in this difficult time.

Bless you, Bobbi Kristina Brown. You fought a brave and difficult battle. Now you can find joy in the arms of Jesus, your mom, and heaven.
