Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revealed in World Premier Trailer

After a series of leaks over the past month, Activision has decided to finally pull back the curtain on the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 from developer Treyarch.

Activision released the world premier trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 earlier today, and the game’s first trailer actually has quite a lot to say about what we can expet when Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 ships on November 13.

Perhaps the biggest surprise from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 trailer is the setting: rather taking place in the past or even the present, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will take place in the relatively near future of 2025.

The guns on display in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 reveal trailer are familiar enough, but the technology on display creates an environment unlike anything we’ve seen in a Call of Duty game before. You’ve got robots, crazy planes with futuristic tech, and so on.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 may not be a massive leap forward for the series, but it’s clear from the video that a good number of new elements are being introduced in the latest title in Activision’s acclaimed franchise. If nothing else, you can jot me down as interested.
