Rihanna Ignites Dating Rumors With Lewis Hamilton After Karim Benzema Cheating Allegations

Rihanna may be staying mum regarding rumors that suggest beau Karim Benzema cheated on her with another woman, but it looks like Rihanna is already moving on. Reports suggest there’s a blossoming romance between Rih and British Formula One race driver Lewis Hamilton.

Rihanna and Hamilton have been spotted on a series of “secret” dates this year, with the rumored couple’s most recent meet-up occurring in NYC last weekend, the Mirror reports.

A source close to Rihanna dishes that she and Hamilton have been flirty for some time but have decided to take things to the next level after spending more time together.

“They’ve had a flirtation for years and have always fancied each other, but since May this year they’ve been talking a lot. Finally their schedules allowed them to spend a weekend in the same part of the world and they made the most of it.”

The source notes that Rihanna’s hectic schedule prevents them from being able to hang out frequently but reveals that Rihanna invited Hamilton to watch her perform at Rock in Rio later this year.

“They are both really busy but Rihanna has asked him to come to Rock in Rio in September so he can see her perform and spend time together.”

Rihanna and Hamilton are rumored to have met at the 2015 Met Gala in NYC earlier this year, after Hamilton sat with Rihanna at an after party following the event, Heatworld reports. In addition, Hamilton was one of many guests at Rihanna’s 1st Annual Diamond Ball charity event honoring the Clara Lionel foundation in December 2014.

An insider close to Hamilton reveals that the Formula 1 driver is smitten with Rihanna, noting that he feels a spark with the “sexy” and “funny” singer.

“He is a bit infatuated with her and thinks she is not only sexy but incredibly funny, although he knows she has a reputation as a heartbreaker.”

Hamilton has been previously linked to singer Nicole Scherzinger and model Kendall Jenner, although the source notes that Hamilton and Jenner are just “friendly” following a rumored split.

While Rihanna has yet to comment on her new rumored romance, the reports come just days after Rihanna’s former beau Karim Benzema was spotted getting cozy with another woman. Sources close to Rihanna previously confirmed the songstress’ romance with Benzema, but it appears things have gone sour for the duo after only one month of dating.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Benzema made headlines earlier this week after he was spotted kissing Axel Witsel’s ex-wife Analica Chaves. The duo were seen cuddled up together in a series of photos posted to Chaves’ account, seemingly confirming rumors that suggested Rihanna and Benzema are on the outs for good.

Currently, Rihanna is hard at work on putting the finishing touches on her eighth studio album, reportedly titled R8. The songstress was seen hitting the studio earlier this week, just hours after reports confirmed Benzema’s romance with Chaves.
