‘Scream Queens’ Star Lea Michele Thinks She Has The Key To Success In Love
Lea Michele may be rumored to be playing one of the most comical Scream Queens characters, but, in reality, Lea looks for much more than laughs in her personal life. While Ms. Michele was the star in another one of Ryan Murphy’s television shows, Lea found love with her Glee co-star Corey Monteith. The tragic loss of Corey left Lea in shock and doubting that she might ever find love again, until the Scream Queens actress recently met and fell in love with Matthew Paetz.
Ms. Michele feels that she’s learned much about love and relationships over the past few years and Lea shares a startling truth that she never could have considered in the past.
“I think that the only way that anyone can really have a successful relationship is if they are totally okay on their own,” the Scream Queens star told E! News. “For me, throughout my whole life, I’ve just really tried to grow and strengthen myself individually and become the most happy, healthy person on my own that I can become.”
Ms. Michele believes that becoming stronger on one’s own better prepares one for finding and keeping a new love, when it does finally come along.
“And then whatever the universe brings into my life, it will.”
When Ms. Michele isn’t spending time with her boyfriend, Lea is becoming a fitness junkie thanks to her Scream Queens co-star and newest BFF Emma Roberts.
“I’m in a total workout kick now,” Ms. Michele said. “Emma Roberts took me to a Pilates studio and I love it so much.”
The Scream Queens star is also giving more thought to what she consumes. Even though Lea is addicted to pizza, Ms. Michele is beginning to realize the impact a poor diet has on her body.
“The reality is that food fuels you and you eat for energy. You want to eat carbs and pizza. That’s like my favorite thing in the entire world but it does make you tired,” the Scream Queens star said. “My food is my fuel. It helps me with my long hours at work so I try my best to eat as healthy as I can.”
Lea Michele took time away from Scream Queens to participate in a female empowerment campaign, hosted by the pharmaceutical company Allergan. The company hopes to rely on participation of female celebrities to help promote their #ActuallySheCan campaign. As their spokeswoman, Ms. Michele released an inspiring statement in support of the campaign.
“I attribute my personal and professional successes to not only my self-reliance and determination, but to the inspiration, education and support I received from others who helped me stay true to myself and my goals. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing a woman leave her mark.”
