RFK Assassination Witness Claims FBI Twisted Her Words And Sirhan Did Not Act Alone
Nina Rhodes-Hughes, a key witness to the 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy now claims that Sirhan Sirhan, the convicted assassin, did not work alone.
This news comes after 78-year-old Nina decided to retract her official statement, indicating to CNN that the FBI “twisted” her original statements regarding the RFK assassination.
In recent court filings, state prosecutors argued that Sirhan is guilty of murder, regardless of whether or not there was a second shooter. Rhodes was quoted by CNN having said:
“What has to come out is that there was another shooter to my right. The truth has got to be told. No more cover-ups.”
While her original FBI statement indicates that she heard only 8 shots at the time of the assassination, Nina contradicted the statement as she told CNN:
“I never said eight shots. I never, never said it. There were more than eight shots. There were at least 12, maybe 14. And I know there were because I heard the rhythm in my head.”
Rhodes-Hughes was never called as a witness in the trial of convicted assassin Sirhan, however, she claims she was interviewed a short time after the incident and conveyed having heard twelve shots at the time of the shooting.
Sirhan’s attorneys have filed a challenge to the verdict, alleging that the authorities were involved in a conspiracy. They are requesting Sirhan’s release from prison as he was the victim of a form of “hypo programming,” which was utilized to cause him to believe that he assassinated Robert F. Kennedy.
In regards to the incident, Rhodes was quoted by CNN having said:
“For me it’s hopeful and sad that it’s only coming out now instead of before — but at least now instead of never.”
Do you think that there’s a chance the alleged RFK assassin Sirhan Sirhan was the victim of “hypo programming” and that he’s really a scapegoat in an elaborate conspiracy in which a second shooter was the true assassin?
