Bethenny Frankel, Eric Stonestreet Dating? ‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Star’s Divorce Is Already Troubling Their Relationship Though [Rumor]
Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel is rumored to be dating Modern Family comedian Eric Stonestreet.
An insider for Radar Online has insisted that the duo have been “hooking up” for several weeks now. However, the pair refuse to confirm their burgeoning relationship because it’s not that serious at this stage. They are also slightly restrained by Frankel’s custody agreement with her ex Jason Hoppy.
The source declared, “They have been hooking up,” before then adding, “But it’s not at the serious stage, and the major reason is because of Bethenny’s divorce. Under the terms of Bethenny and Jason’s custody agreement, they are both required to live in the New York City area for their daughter, Bryn.”
And the fact that Eric Stonestreet lives in Los Angeles, where he films his sequences for the hit ABC sitcom, means that this makes it a slight issue for the pair.
The source continued, “Eric lives in Los Angeles, so the distance is a problem.”
However, that hasn’t stopped the pair from enjoying each other’s company, and they are both extremely happy with the start of their romance.
“There is a ton of chemistry between them,” the insider added, “and they have a lot of fun together.”
The only real issue is the huge distance between the pair, and while the East-Coast based Bethenny Frankel “wants to take it to the next level,” they don’t want “to have a bi-coastal relationship.”
Bethenny Frankel is currently traveling out to Los Angeles whenever Jason has custody of Bryn, while Frankel and Stonestreet have even been spotted together at Bethenny’s Bridgehampton farmhouse.
But as their relationship is still in its infancy, the reality television star still is yet to introduce her new beau to her daughter Byrn yet.
The insider added, “Bethenny is very careful not to introduce boyfriends to Bryn until she is sure that it’s going to be a serious relationship. She never wants it to become a revolving door of men coming through Bryn’s life.”
