Kristen Bell Leaves Voicemail As Anna From Disney’s ‘Frozen’ For Little Girl With A Brain Tumor (Video)

There is no mistaking the fact that Disney’s Frozen is one of the most popular animated films ever made. Many young girls dream of being Queen Elsa or Princess Anna, and their excitement is often hard to contain. That was obvious when Kristen Bell as Princess Anna left a voicemail for a young girl named Avery, who happens to have a brain tumor.

Avery Huffman is just six-years-old, and she is a huge fan of Frozen. Her favorite Disney character happens to be Princess Anna, according to her page on CaringBridge. She had a wish to one day be able to talk to Princess Anna, and her wish has now come true.

As Hypable reported, Avery’s father Brandon was able to get in contact with actress Kristen Bell through a connection of his. Ms. Bell, who is the voice of Princess Anna, heard Avery’s story and wanted to do something to bring a smile to the young girl’s face.

That was when she made a phone call as Princess Anna and left a voicemail for Avery, which included a very special surprise for the young girl. During the voicemail, Anna told Avery that Queen Elsa had made her an honorary princess of Arendelle.

Brandon happened to have his camera at the ready, and he recorded his daughter’s reaction as she first heard the voicemail from Princess Anna. It’s a video that will always be cherished, and you can tell how much it means to Avery.

Every single time Avery is told something special by Anna, the bright look on her face gets even bigger, and it is wonderfully obvious that she is just thrilled.

According to her GoFundMe page, Avery Huffman was diagnosed with DIPG or Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma back on June 30.

“…a brain tumor found in the pons, part of the brainstem on the lower back of the brain, near the top of the spinal cord. The doctor’s have deemed this tumor as incurable and fatal. On top of this devastating news, the medical costs are already beginning to pile up and the Huffman family can use all the help in keeping the rising costs under control while they care for our sweet girl. Everything & anything helps and is greatly appreciated. Prayers are especially welcomed.”

With a diagnosis like that, Avery’s father simply wanted to make his little girl the happiest he possibly could. At first, Avery has a look of complete and total shock that a princess from Disney’s Frozen took the time out of a busy day to call her.

She gets even more excited at the end when Anna tells her that she’s going to “go build a snowman with my friend Olaf now.”

Kristen Bell has a busy life and certainly has plenty to do, but she had more than enough time to portray Princess Anna from Disney’s Frozen and call a young girl with a brain tumor. Avery Huffman’s day and probably year were made, and all it took was a single voicemail.
