Kaitlyn Bristowe Faces Backlash On ‘The Bachelorette: Men Tell All’ Special
Kaitlyn Bristowe had to face the music, so to speak, on this week’s The Bachelorette: Men Tell All special.

Bristowe sat down with all of her former suitors from the show this season on ABC, one week before the finale, in which she will choose between the final two men.
Kaitlyn has definitely made as many headlines as any former Bachelor or Bachelorette following her controversial decision to speak publicly about having had a physical relationship with at least one of the contestants during the show’s taping. The social media slander against Bristowe has been harsh, to say the least.
ALOT of love pouring in right now which is a nice change.I’m all for opinions and chirps, but the kind of hate I’ve been getting is sick — Kaitlyn Bristowe (@kaitlynbristowe) July 21, 2015
In prior seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Bachelors and Bachelorettes have not openly admitted to having any type of physical relationship with anyone on the show, even upon choosing to enter the Fantasy Suite together, and what that probably entails.
Too graphic to include, the vicious insults and shaming Kaitlyn has been receiving on Twitter and other social media outlets was horrifying to hear and see on the Men Tell All special. Bristowe has thick skin, however, and was seemingly calm while listening to host Chris Harrison read some of the horrendous messages to Kaitlyn.
“I really like to think myself as a tough, tough person. I’m fine with people disagreeing with me or having their opinions, that’s okay, but spreading hate the way people have been is not okay,” Bristowe said on the show.
The audience and the former contestants gave Kaitlyn a standing ovation for her honesty and ability to hold her head high amidst the shame-inducing harassment she has received since becoming the Bachelorette and admitting to the world that she had been with one of the men intimately long before the Fantasy Suite was an option.

In the end, Kaitlyn Bristowe has won the respect and admiration for just as many people as she has offended, and the outpouring of support on Twitter makes that very clear.
You can watch The Bachelorette season finale on ABC on July 27 to see which man Kaitlyn chooses.
