Bethenny Frankel, Eric Stonestreet Dating: Divorce, Distance Causing Issues?

Reality star Bethenny Frankel is reportedly dating actor Eric Stonestreet after all!

However, according to Radar Online, an inside source claims that Frankel’s divorce has placed a hurdle on the progressive track of their relationship.

“They have been hooking up. But it’s not at the serious stage, and the major reason is because of Bethenny’s divorce.”

Due to the conditions of Bethenny’s custody agreement with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy, she is required to live within the New York City area for the former couple’s daughter.

Those conditions have also reportedly held Bethenny and Eric back since it requires them to maintain a long-distance relationship.

“Eric lives in Los Angeles, so the distance is a problem. There is a ton of chemistry between them, and they have a lot of fun together. Bethenny wants to take it to the next level but neither one wants to have a bi-coastal relationship.”

For now, according to the insider, Bethenny Frankel enjoys being able to spend quality time with Eric Stonestreet in Los Angeles whenever her husband has custody of their daughter.

Earlier this month, inside sources opened up to Us Weekly also claiming that Bethenny was dating the Modern Family actor.

One mentioned that Bethenny and Eric “definitely are fond of each other and like each other but it’s not serious” while another simply stated that the two are “seeing where it goes.” Neither Bethenny nor Eric have confirmed or clearly denied their relationship to the media yet. However, they both posted tweets that allowed them to apparently joke about the issue.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the Real Housewives of New York star is not interested in ever getting married again legally. However, she admitted that being in another committed relationship is not necessarily off of the table.

“It doesn’t mean that I would not commit to someone. I’m not jaded, I’m not bitter about love. I think there are amazing guys out there in the world, it’s none of that.”

Bethenny Frankel married Jason Hoppy, a pharmaceutical sales executive, back in 2010. The couple separated in December 2012 and finalized their divorce in January of 2013.
