Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris may join The View . Candace, known for her bubbly Full House role, and Paula, famed for her perky Good Morning America personality, may replace the repeatedly empty chairs on the talk show , according to Variety .
Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez are the latest victims to head through The View’s revolving doors. If Cameron Bure and Faris strike the deals that they desire, The View would include faithful Whoopi Goldberg as well as the two newcomers, Raven Symone and Michelle Collins.
Why choose Candace, an actress for much of her life? Cameron Bure would take what’s known as the conservative Republican seat on The View . However, because she has already committed to appearing in Fuller House , the much-anticipated reboot of Full House on Netflix, the shooting schedule could be complicated, requiring Candace to fly from coast to coast frequently.

In addition, Paula has a complicated arrangement to figure out. Farris would appear on The View Monday through Thursday, then shift into GMA Weekend mode. She was chosen because of her journalism background, offering the more balanced view of her predecessor Barbara Walters.
Above all, ABC hopes that Candace and Paula can bring on the buzz. Ratings fell after Walters exited, then the show received adverse publicity when Rosie O’Donnell made a dramatic departure.
As the Inquisitr reported, following her departure, O’Donnell dished upon her experience at The View . After numerous heated exchanges with her co-hosts, the stress was adversely impacting her health, said Rosie.
“The truth is, I had a heart attack two years ago and stress is very bad for a heart attack survivor,” O’Donnell said candidly. “I’m minimizing my stress by leaving ‘The View.’ The stress I’m having at home is not easily as remediable…. It’s hard, marriages are complicated and I’ve got five kids… There’s lots of stuff going on at home.”
Both Candace and Paula have already guest-hosted successfully. Cameron Bure and Faris both made an impression during their appearances on The View , reported Us Weekly .
However, Candace in particular received publicity when she and Symone took different sides in the case of an Oregon bakery that was fined $135,000 when it declined to concoct a lesbian couple’s wedding cake.
“I don’t think this is discrimination at all. This is about freedom of association,” argued Candace. “It’s about constitutional rights. It’s about First Amendment rights. We do have the right to still choose who we associate with.”
But Symone got fired up and furious.
“I refuse to associate with you right now!” declared the View co-host.
