Robert Pattinson Takes His Mom To See FKA Twigs Perform, While Kristen Stewart Talks ‘Twilight’

Robert Pattinson has been making the rounds with his new fiancé, British singer FKA Twigs. Pattinson was recently spotted in Manchester watching Twigs perform in the Manchester International Festival.

Joining Pattinson in watching Twigs sing and dance was his mother, Clare. The two watched Twigs as she complete her residency at the Granada Studios. Twig’s performed a total of seven songs during the event, and, according to IBTimes, her songs were inspired by “gang violence, some romantic entanglements, bad boys and heartbroken girls.”

Meanwhile, Pattinson was later seen at a local restaurant dining with his family, which included his mother and his father, Richard. While the people at the restaurant were kindly asked not to take pictures, Pattinson did manage to photobomb a birthday photo, which was later posted to Twitter.

While Pattinson and his mother watched Twigs perform at MIF, Pattinson’s ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, was off flying to Paris. Stewart, who is getting ready for the release of her newest project, Clouds of Sils, recently sat down with Marie Claire and discussed how her life has changed since her days on Twilight.

“Between ages 15 and 20, it was really intense. I was constantly anxious… I was kind of a control freak. If I didn’t know how something was going to turn out, I would make myself ill, or just be locked up or inhibited in a way that was really debilitating … I used to be embarrassed about how I cry all the time. Now I think it’s a gift to feel things.”

Stewart went on to reveal that her new approach to life has opened up her world and helped her grow as a person. She also added that the rough times she has experienced were good for her in the long run, and she now feels stronger for having gone through them.

“At one point, you just let go and give yourself to your life… I have finally managed that and I get so much more out of life. I’ve lived hard for such a young person, and I’ve done that to myself — but I’ve come out the other end not hardened but strong. I have an ability to persevere that I didn’t have before. It’s like when you fall on your face so hard. And the next time, you’re like, ‘Yeah, so? I’ve fallen on my face before.’ “

Robert Pattinson is currently in pre-production on Lost City of Z, costarring Sons of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam.
