Who Is ‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Really Dating? Countess LuAnn Weighs In

The online interaction between Real Housewives of New York star Bethenny Frankel and Eric Stonestreet seems to indicate that the two might have something going on behind the scenes. Upon hearing the rumors that they were dating, both Frankel and the Modern Family star took to Twitter to poke fun at the news.

Although Frankel and Stonestreet both addressed the rumors that they were dating on social media, the interesting fact is that they didn’t deny anything outright. Of course, this has led to even more rumors that the two are seeing each other, with some believing their relationship is still in the beginning phase.

While everyone waits to learn if their budding relationship is true and turns into anything more substantial, one of Frankel’s co-stars recently discussed the matter with PEOPLE.

“I went for a swim with her [Frankel] yesterday on the beach,” Real Housewives of New York LuAnn de Lesseps explained in an interview with People. “I didn’t even bring it up,” she added.

De Lesseps went on to state that she couldn’t quite picture the two together in her mind. “I don’t know if it’s true. I can’t picture her with that guy, but I’m sure he’s a wonderful, lovely man,” de Lesseps stated.

If the two are indeed dating, then their relationship is certainly something that few people, if any, saw coming. De Lesseps views that the two are an odd couple are fairly accurate, especially given that Stonestreet doesn’t appear to be the type of man Frankel normally chases after.

At the same time, Bethenny Frankel’s friend Patti Stanger, Millionaire Matchmaker, seems to think otherwise. The relationship expert believes that, although the two might not seem to be the ideal match, the pair do have share some things in common that make for a potential match.

“They’re both strong, powerful, and both make money,” Stanger told PEOPLE in the same interview.

However, Stanger did admit that the couple would not be a typical pair. “It’s an unusual pairing, but Eric is hysterical… and funny [guys] can get the hot girls.”

Stanger went on to hint that the two are friends and that their relationship is something new. “They could be friends. It’s a new thing,” she stated.

Perhaps Stanger is correct, and Stonestreet’s wit and charm will be enough to entice Frankel into a relationship. Considering the fact that Frankel can be funny in her own right, maybe the two are destined to be with each other.
