No More Duggar Weddings: TLC Refuses To Air Amy Duggar’s Upcoming Nuptials
It looks like TLC has put their foot down on airing anymore Duggar weddings at all, at least not in the near future. That not only includes any of the 19 Kids and Counting children, but also cousins as well. Amy Duggar just recently announced her engagement to Dillion King, and the couple was hoping that their nuptials would be televised on the network. However, it looks like that is not going to happen.
Dillion took to his Instagram to catch fans up on their future plans. However, those plans do not include getting hitched on TV. TLC refused them the opportunity to air their wedding. He was clearly disappointed that they are not able to share the actual ceremony with anyone who was looking forward to seeing it.
“TLC call us yesterday stating they have decided that they will NOT be filming our wedding and they are ‘glad they got to work with us.’ So, Amy and myself apologize that we will not be able to share our special day with you all on the TLC network.”
Amy’s fiancé also encouraged those who want to see it air to voice their opinions to TLC. Of course, they are still being bombarded by 19 Kids and Counting fans who are extremely unhappy that their favorite family show has been taken off the air. It is doubtful that they will budge on airing anymore reality shows from this family. Of course, that doesn’t change the fact that Amy and Dillon are in love and will have a wonderful wedding and happy life together, despite the fact that they won’t be saying their I do’s in front of millions of fans.
I would have married him with an old bolt on my finger. His words are not empty and he proves that every single day. pic.twitter.com/dt1viYrm7N

So much has happened in the Duggar family in the last couple of months. Of course, there is the Josh Duggar molestation scandal, then Jill and Derick Dillard moving to another country to work in missions, and another Duggar baby has been born to Anna and Josh just a few days ago. Now, the former reality show stars are looking forward to celebrating the marriage of their cousin Amy and her special guy. There are so many future Duggar weddings that will not be seen on TV.
Recent reports have come out that patriarch Jim Bob Duggar is the reason that daughters Jill and Jessa Duggar will not get their own spinoff show on TLC. The Inquisitr recently reported that their dad shot the idea down because he wanted to also be included, and if he was not, then the girls could not return to TV without him.
This could very well just be a rumor, but the family is also said to be quite heartbroken over their show being canceled. Unnamed sources told People that they feel that God really wants them to spread their faith through television. However, that will not happen. Now, Amy and Dillion are also being punished for being a part of the Duggar family scandal. They will not be able to share the excitement of their wedding day on TV like they wanted to.
Do you think that TLC should air anymore Duggar weddings in the future as part of special episodes for fans to see?
