‘The Good Dinosaur’: Official U.S. Trailer Released, And It Is Super Cute! [Video]
2015 seems to be a great year for movie buffs — especially for fans of Pixar. After the success of Inside Out, which was arguably one of the biggest hits of the year, movie watchers can expect another visual treat from Pixar by the end of the year in the form of The Good Dinosaur. Four months before the release of the film, Pixar went ahead and released the official U.S. Trailer for The Good Dinosaur earlier today. We have embedded the 2:26-minute clip above and needless to say, you would find it super cute.
Since its release earlier today, the trailer of The Good Dinosaur has notched up over 100,000 views and is fast climbing up the charts.
This first official U.S. trailer gives the best look at the film yet and as you might have already made out from the clip, the CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) used in the film is absolutely stunning. In fact, this is claimed to be the most photorealistic CGI ever done by folks at Pixar.
The Good Dinosaur deals with the rather interesting scenario of humans co-existing with dinosaurs. What if the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs from the face of the earth 65 million years ago missed the earth? What would have happened if humans evolved along with dinosaurs? The film deals with this issue by using the central characters of the film — an Apatosaurus named Arlo who’s separated from his family and befriends a young human named Spot.
The cast of the film include Neil Patrick Harris, Anna Paquin, Judy Greer, John Lithgow, Bill Hader, and Frances McDormand. It remains to be seen if the ultra-realistic CGI imagery and the overload of cuteness will ensure a box office success for The Good Dinosaur.
For those wondering, you would be able to watch the film starting November 25 in the U.S. In case you live elsewhere, the film is set for a worldwide release starting January 1. Have you seen the first official trailer of The Good Dinosaur? How was it?
