Selena Gomez Teases New Album Title And Release Date On Instagram?
Selena Gomez has been busy teasing new tracks from her upcoming studio album on social media over the past few weeks, but when Selena took to Instagram on Tuesday to share a new sexy video to tease what appears to be the title and release date of her new album, fans went wild with anticipation.
Ever since Gomez dropped the music video for her chart-topping hit “Good For You,” fans have been begging Selena to release more information about her new studio album. Much to the delight of fans, Gomez took to Instagram to share a sultry black-and-white video of herself in the studio in which Selena can be seen writing the word “Revival” and the numbers “10.9” on a notebook, leading fans to believe that the title of Gomez’s new album is Revival and will be released on October 9, 2015, Hollywood Life reports.

If Revival is in fact the title of Selena’s new record, it’s not surprising; Gomez previously opened up to MTV about her upcoming album, hinting that the new project will be her most open and honest to date.
“It’s my time to embrace who I am, and I’m not going to sit down in a chair and talk about something that doesn’t mean anything to me anymore. This is the most I’ve been creatively involved from the writing process. Every single thing I’m even remotely singing about is something I’ve related to and something I’m hitting the nail on, and I had to pick what was going to represent the album and who I am as a whole.”
Selena also dropped a not-so-subtle hint on Instagram earlier this year when she spoke about being “reborn in every moment.”
“You have watched me in pain and I’ve owned up to it through my music and actions. I grew up with you. I am beyond excited to show you the next chapter, the TRUTH. I’ve been keeping so many secrets…I’m reborn in every moment so who knows what I’ll become..As long as I’m happy with me.”
The news comes only a week after Gomez hinted that her new music will be “inspired” by ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, Daily Mail reports.
Gomez took to Instagram earlier this month to share a photo of herself taking a break from recording in the studio, captioning the shot with “Kill. Em. With. Kindness,” leading some fans to believe that Gomez is working on a Bieber-inspired track.
