VIDEO: The Dead on Letterman

The Dead — the reformed music group featuring members of the Grateful Dead — performed on David Letterman this week. The band played the 1970 song “Sugar Magnolia,” off the classic album American Beauty.

The Dead just began its first official tour since 2004. Original members Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart are joined by keyboardist Jeff Chimenti and Allman Brothers Band/Gov’t Mule guitarist Warren Haynes. The group is playing 19 shows across 16 cities.
