Brandi Glanville Says RHOBH Kim Richards Is Sober, Not In Hiding
After leaving rehab more than two months early, Kim Richards is out and about and doing fine, according to her RHOBH cohort, Brandi Glanville. As reported earlier in the Inquisitr, Glanville spoke to the press on Richards’ behalf after Kim Richards left rehab in the middle of the night.
“I spoke to [Kim Richards] – she just got out of rehab. She sounds like she’s in great spirits. She’s just trying to find a place to live and move forward with her acting.”

Kim Richards might want to choose a more sober spokesperson, as Glanville was publicly drunk Saturday night, according to Perez Hilton, needing assistance to stumble to her car. Brandi Glanville used to poorly chosen words “good spirits” to describe Kim Richards’ mood and outlook.
As reported, Kim Richards was arrested after an incident in April where she was publicly drunk at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and assaulted a police officer. Thursday, she appeared in court for pre-trial motions in order to reach a plea deal. Since her arrest, she left rehab for her daughter’s wedding in Mexico, where she once again fell off the wagon, disappearing for days.

Kim Richards might find it tough to make a deal to stay out of jail. Like Brandi Glanville, Kim Richards was fired from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as their erratic behavior made filming uncomfortable for the other women. So for now, Richards is unemployed, homeless, and has not been attending outpatient therapy after leaving rehab early.
“Kim has not been back to the center and has not been doing her outpatient therapy. She has already missed four sessions.
The rehab program directors are just assuming that Kim isn’t returning to treatment there, and no one is going to chase her down and try to force it on her. She did not get along with hardly anyone there to begin with and when she left she had not even really started her intended program, which was at least three months.”
Brandi Glanville continues to come to Kim’s defense, towing the party line that Richards didn’t leave rehab early — because since she was there voluntarily, she could leave whenever she wanted. Kim Richards has also publicly stated that she was “loving her sobriety,” and optimistic about the future.
Do you think Kim Richards can stay sober and out of jail?
