WWE Rumors: Huge ‘Monday Night Raw’ Planned – Will Sting And Undertaker Show Up? New Faces Of Fear? Who Will John Cena Face Next?
Last night at WWE Battleground, the wrestling world was turned on its head by some of the things that took place. The Undertaker returned. Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt reunited. Brock Lesnar was demolished in the middle of the ring. There is plenty more to come as the world heads toward SummerSlam, and a lot of questions and rumors could be answered on tonight’s Monday Night Raw.
WWE has now released their official preview for tonight’s Raw, and it actually includes some interesting little notes. Most of the preview is nothing more than questions, but the way WWE words it is what makes fans think.
1. Will the Deadman rise on Raw?
The Undertaker did indeed return at Battleground and he completely destroyed Brock Lesnar. The announcers sold it as revenge for Lesnar breaking Taker’s perfect streak at WrestleMania XXX, and it set up their match for SummerSlam.
Undertaker is expected on Raw tonight, and he will likely come face-to-face with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. There will be some more explanation, and more build-up as the SummerSlam match gets announced.
2. Two Faces of Fear – Wyatt and Harper?
Luke Harper interfered in Bray Wyatt’s match last night to give him the victory over Roman Reigns. While some may see it as a reunion of the Wyatt Family, it’s interesting to see the word choice of WWE.com.
The Faces of Fear was the name of a tag team consisting of The Barbarian and Haku/Meng, and it spanned WWF, WCW, NJPW, and SWS. Maybe this means that WWE is going to leave Harper and Wyatt as strictly a tag team and not add any more members to the Wyatt Family.
Sting is set to return to WWE on Raw tonight too, and Cageside Seats has an interesting rumor for him. It’s being reported that he could team up with Roman Reigns to take on the Wyatt Family at SummerSlam.
3. How will the Divas revolution continue?
Charlotte got the big victory in the triple threat match last night, and expect the three feuding teams to face off once again. This is expected to lead to Charlotte getting a WWE Divas Title match against Nikki Bella at SummerSlam.
4. Has Orton seen the last of Sheamus?
Fans kind of hoped this feud would end, but the way WWE words it, things could continue between Sheamus and Randy Orton. Maybe they’ll add in Dean Ambrose or another superstar to make it interesting.
5. What’s next for John Cena?
After John Cena‘s victory over Kevin Owens last night, WWE is making it seem as if he will be moving onto someone else to defend the U.S. Title against. This kind of goes against all rumors that have said Cena/Owens would have one more match at SummerSlam with K.O taking the title.
Could Cena be going in a different direction and holding onto the U.S. Title? Many believe that Owens isn’t done just yet.
So, that seems like a whole lot to happen on one Monday Night Raw, but there will be more as well. Rumors of Sting going after Seth Rollins are flying. What about the Intercontinental Title? It’s going to be a wild night leading and a crazy month leading up to SummerSlam.
