Jimmy Fallon And Amy Schumer Just Trolled Bradley Cooper On National Television [Videos]
Jimmy Fallon: when he’s around, there is rarely a dull moment. And when you add comedian Amy Schumer to the mix, you know you’re in for a hilarious time.
In the last few years, Jimmy Fallon’s popular late-night talk show has become a hotspot for filmmakers and actors looking to promote their films. So it was no surprise when Amy Schumer, whose latest flick Trainwreck was released on Friday, July 17, 2015, came in for a chat on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Already a crowd favorite, it didn’t take long for Amy to warm up the studio audience and Jimmy Fallon himself.
First, as is customary with celebrities who appear on Jimmy Fallon’s show, Amy was interviewed: but this time with a twist. Both Jimmy Fallon and Amy Schumer had to answer questions cycling through several emotions at once, all at the sound of a bell. So Amy went from being condescending to tipsy, then from super scared to horny, while answering questions that were being thrown at her by an equally wisecracking Jimmy Fallon. Watch the hilarious video below.
In the next segment, Amy went ahead and did something she is very good at: trolling people. When Jimmy Fallon asked her how she was taking her success, Amy said she was enjoying it because it allowed her access to people she would otherwise never have met. Then by recounting one hilarious anecdote (we still don’t know whether it was a true story or just the product of Amy’s vivid imagination!), she took a shot at Bradley Cooper and his new girlfriend, Irina Shayk. See the video below.
Even the skeptics will have to concede that Amy Schumer is funny – and not just your typical, star-eyed, pretentious funny – but she is actually an outspoken, sparkling comedian with a range of jokes and funny (often self-deprecating) anecdotes up her sleeve to suit any occasion. She even gave Jimmy Fallon a run for his money. At Philly, Amy is described as being nothing short of an “American Hero.”
“Is Schumer controversial? Sure. She’s a comedian who delivers dirty laughs. She’s a woman who just made a movie where she plays a man-izer. She deals in sarcasm. She ascribes to feminism. She’s having a moment. We’re giving it to her.”
Fans of the show will remember when Amy appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last year, where she participated in another humorous game called “Truth and Truth”. Check out the video below.
Meanwhile, Amy Schumer’s newly-released latest film Trainwreck features cameos by sporting personalities such as LeBron James and John Cena, as reported by The Wrap. Trainwreck is written by Amy and directed by Judd Apatow, who is known as the creator of some of the most heart-warming teen comedies on television, including Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared.
So if you can’t get enough of Amy, then take in another generous dose of her unique wit by watching Trainwreck.
As for Jimmy Fallon fans: we’re betting you’re glad the weekend is over and you’ve got a full five days of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon coming up.
