Reality Steve Says ‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Won’t Marry Her Final Pick, Did They Already Split?

Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of the Bachelorette draws to a close next week with spoilers pointing to a romantic proposal that ends with a 3.5 carat diamond ring being placed on her finger.

Will Kaitlyn and her final pick beat the Bachelor franchise odds and get married or will they announce their breakup on —or shortly after — the season finale airs on July 27?

During the 3-hour season finale, Kaitlyn will introduce her final two guys to her family and go on her final dates with Shawn and Nick before heading to the rose ceremony. ABC’s previews show that Kaitlyn will have a tough time choosing who to give her final rose to — Shawn Booth or Nick Viall.

Spoilers indicate that Nick will get down on one knee and propose, but Kaitlyn will reject his proposal, leaving Shawn as this season’s winner. Most fans will not be surprised to see Kaitlyn picked the 28-year-old fitness instructor — especially after the much-talked about Snapchat video and this tell-all photo posted by Shawn.

However, Reality Steve states that it’s not likely Kaitlyn and Shawn will ever get married, and he doesn’t expect their engagement to last long. When asked by a reader how long their post-Bachelorette relationship will last, Steve responded with two words; “Not very.”

Although Steve doesn’t give a reason as to why he thinks they will break up, there is speculation that Shawn had a tough time watching the season play out on TV, especially after Kaitlyn told him that she slept with Nick before the overnights.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, a source close to Shawn revealed that his trust issues are the biggest factor in the possible failure of the Bachelorette couple. Kaitlyn was well-aware that Shawn was extremely jealous throughout the season, telling host Chris Harrison that “a healthy amount is one thing – one that could sabotage a relationship is another.”

“Shawn has always had trust issues, and Kaitlyn basically brought them all to the surface. He truly believed [she was] going through the motions with the other guys… Now that he has saw her on dates and kissing them and hooking up with them on TV, he feels like their entire relationship was a lie and Kaitlyn totally played him.”

Although Shawn may have been in the dark about Kaitlyn’s relationship with Nick Viall prior to the start of the season, it’s likely he found out about it after filming wrapped up. After watching Kaitlyn kiss just about every guy on the show, coupled with rumors that she had sex with her three final picks, it’s hard to imagine Shawn felt secure about his future with Kaitlyn.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that Kaitlyn is furious with the production crew and plans to “pull a Juan Pablo” during the After the Final Rose special. Does that mean Kaitlyn and Shawn will announce their breakup on live TV or will they enjoy a little time in the spotlight and issue a joint breakup statement — similar to Chris and Whitney’s — a few months down the road?
