Bobby Flay Divorce Settlement: How Much Did Celeb Chef Fork Over To Stephanie March?

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay has finalized his divorce to actress Stephanie March earlier this week, with the former couple telling People that they have reached “an amicable divorce settlement.” How much did Stephanie get, and will this finally put an end to all of the cheating rumors about Bobby that have been making headlines for months?

This is the third divorce for Bobby, who married Stephanie in 2005. Their separation was first reported in March, 2015, followed by a number of media reports about the restauranteur and television personality cheating on his wife. INO reports that their divorce proceedings were so nasty that Bobby’s recent Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony was interrupted by someone who flew a banner over the event that read “Cheater.”

The terms of the celebrity couple’s divorce settlement were kept private, but there is speculation that it went over and above the $5,000 a month in spousal support that was part of Stephanie’s prenup agreement signed before their wedding 10 years ago. Stephanie’s allegations that Bobby cheated on her were reportedly included in the divorce documents, and prompted Flay to nix the idea of having a trial and change the terms of the prenup.

TMZ reports that the settlement was “complicated,” but Stephanie did “just fine.” Considering Flay is worth approximately $20 million and didn’t want his dirty laundry aired in court, there’s no doubt that the settlement was much more than the prenup dictated.

Shortly after word got out that Flay and March had separated, Page Six reported that their marital problems started with rumors that Bobby had been seeing his assistant, 28-year-old Elyse Tirrell, for three years. Tirell formerly worked as a waitress at one of Bobby’s restaurants, Bar Americain.

Flay, who stars on a number of Food Network shows, has also been linked to actress January Jones, with In Touch stating that Stephanie claimed in court papers that Bobby “committed adultery with January” for several months in early 2010.

More cheating rumors surfaced when Bobby was spotted “holding hands” with celeb chef Giada De Laurentiis at a New York restaurant, followed by a cozy dinner out in Miami just days before she announced her split from her husband of 11 years, Todd Thompson.

Despite their difficult and much-publicized split, Bobby and Stephanie issued a joint statement to People earlier in the week that indicated they are both moving on.

“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement. We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us, and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward.”
