No Tension Between Movie Flash And TV Flash, Interviews With Ezra Miller Reveal

DC Cinematic Universe’s The Flash does not star Grant Gustin, and a lot of fans from the The Flash TV series were disappointed since they have come to love Gustin as The Flash. But the new Flash Ezra Miller talked to MTV News, and we found out that he’s actually a fan of The Flash TV series and is very ecstatic to play The Flash character with no insecurities.

Movie Flash Ezra Miller talks about the controversies surrounding him avoiding The Flash TV series to avoid compromising his role as the flash for the DC movie.

“I’m not avoiding it all. I think it’s awesome! I think it’s awesome! Come on, we’re the Flash! It’s parallel universes! Grant Gustin is the Flash and I’m the Flash, don’t you see? It’s the event horizon, we crossed it baby! Grant and I are chilling. We’re gonna have a race, it’s gonna be dope! Like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day!”

Apart from being a huge fan of The Flash TV series, Ezra Miller reveals that he’s a huge comic geek, IGN reports. His new contract to play the role of Flash in the upcoming The Flash movie, he says, is giving him the license to just geek out even more. No parents to tell him comics are a waste of time, eh?

“I’ve been a comic guy but I’m going in as hard as possible because I have a serious excuse to. I have the ultimate license to geek out so hard all the time!”

He goes more into geek mode and talks about what he feels about the character behind the costume of The Flash.

Barry Allen is the Silver Age, who follows a lot of interesting discoveries in physics… Where he comes from is, we figured out the event horizon was there, and then he was the character who was created through our mythos machine of comic books, to break that event horizon so we could explore in fantasy, and I think that’s an interesting idea. And what’s an interesting idea to me is, what does that do to someone?”

With an enthusiasm like this from the new Flash guy, it’ll be hard for The Flash TV series fans to hate on Ezra.

The Flash Season 2 will premiere in October, and the fans (and Ezra) are excited for this. The Flash movie won’t be out until 2018, but for the meantime, Comic Book reports that Ezra Miller as the Flash Barry Allen will make a cameo in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in March.
