Sarah Michelle Gellar Pregnant With Second Child

Sarah Michelle Gellar and husband Freddie Prince Jr. are expecting their second child. The news was confirmed by PEOPLE, and a srouce tells the publication that the two are incredibly excited about the pregnancy. The unnamed source stated:

“She and Freddie are thrilled. They love their little girl more than anything in the world and know that love will only multiply. She is such a fantastic mom; it is just great news.”

The two originally met while filming horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer, and starting dating three years later. They were married in Mexico on September 1, 2002, and then welcomed their first daughter, Charlotte Grace, into the world in September of 2009.

Shortly after giving birth to her first daughter, Sarah Michelle Gellar told PEOPLE that:

“Becoming a parent is the most selfless act, and you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child.”

She went on to say that:

“You need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child. Every day I look at her and I am in awe…the minute you have a baby, everyone asks, ‘When are you going to have another one?’ ”

The 35 year old actress said that she and hubby Prince Jr., 36, sometimes fight over who gets to stay home with Charlotte. Gellar stated that:

“He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home. You’d think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, ‘No, I’ll go to work!’ but he’s like, ‘You stayed home for two years! It’s my turn!'”

Sarah Michelle Gellar will soon join other celebs, like Jessica Simpson and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi in showing off their baby bumps.
