Luke Bryan Celebrates Birthday, Hints At Wife’s Tradition Of Racy Surprises, Releases New Video
Luke Bryan celebrates his 39th birthday today while on the road for his Kick Up The Dust Tour. His lovely wife, Caroline, will be there to share his big day with him. The country star has some high hopes for his birthday based on his wife’s “thoughtful,” but apparently, somewhat racy, tradition.
Luke Bryan recently visited Taste of Country Nights to discuss his upcoming album, Kill The Lights. When the topic of his birthday came up, he hinted at his wife’s naughty birthday surprises, saying, “She gets really, really thoughtful with birthdays.”
He mentioned her creativity with cakes, “And she gets really, really creative with birthday cakes, so…” Luke admits, “Half the time they’re not anything I can post.“
Radio host Sam Alex may not have found any of these “creative” cakes on Luke’s Twitter account, but a follower managed to find a picture of the cake Caroline had made for Luke today. It can be described as anything but sexy. The cake is in the form of a very “full” toilet, complete with a plunger, a container of dietary fiber, and a roll of toilet paper. A slightly unrolled portion of toilet paper reads, “Holy s*** you’re getting old!”

The follower suspects this may be the real reason Bryan doesn’t share photos of his cakes with fans, commenting, “No wonder you don’t post pictures of the cakes Caroline gets you.”
Bryan and Caroline have been together since 2006 and have two young boys, Bo and Tate, together. The couple also took in Luke’s 13-year-old nephew, Til, following the death of Luke’s brother-in-law last November. Sadly, the “Drink a Beer” singer had also lost his sister, Til’s mother, unexpectedly in 2007 at age 39.
Luke Bryan opened up about the transition to Taste of Country earlier this year. He said it wasn’t easy for anyone involved, but the family was handling the new circumstances by staying positive. By doing so, Bryan hoped to offer inspiration to other families in similar situations.
“We’re exhausted at the end of the day, especially her from the new things that are going on in our life. But we feel like if we just stay positive through this maybe we’ll be a positive inspiration for people that have these things happen to them.”
Luke Bryan’s fifth studio album is set for an August 7 release. Kill the Lights will include “Home Alone Tonight,” a duet with Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild. In the meantime, fans can enjoy the just released steamy lyric video to “Strip It Down,” from the new album.
