‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers And Promo: Preparing For Charles, Plus A Prom Tease
The Pretty Little Liars thought they had it all figured out when it came to Charles – at least when it came to him being alive or dead. However, the most recent episode changed that, and now it seems his official return (or whatever you want to call it) is imminent, especially with that card Mr. DiLaurentis had.
In the latest Pretty Little Liars episode, the girls were out to prove that Lesli is guilty, and for Hanna, that meant going so far as to dupe a valet parking attendant so she could get access to her car. Considering she found a box with multiple pairs of the same fake glasses and four suspiciously big cages in the trunk, it seemed that they were on the right track. When Spencer, Hanna, and Aria went to check out the lab where Lesli works, they discovered that they had been chipped, thanks to Hanna setting off a scanning wand.
Mona found the girls as Hanna was trying to free the animals in their cages and revealed that Lesli was pretending – to be stable, not Charles. Mona also told them that Charles had apparently left the same night Bethany did too, and that the drugs he was on would have meant he couldn’t have donated his organs. So yes, Charles is still alive. Oh, and that photo they have of A? As Mona pointed out, that only meant A wanted to be caught in a photo, so it means nothing. The last scene showed Mr. DiLaurentis digging at Charles’ grave, with a card on the ground next to him.
“Dear Daddy, Coming home for my birthday. You should plan a party to die for. Just you. Love, Charles.”
So what does this mean for the next Pretty Little Liars episode? Well, according to the synopsis posted by Wetpaint, people are going to react differently to the declaration from Charles that he is coming home.
“There are mixed emotions in the DiLaurentis household when Charles declares he is coming home for his birthday. Mr. DiLaurentis wants to quickly get out of town to hide Ali and Jason from their brother, while Jason sees this as an opportunity to finally validate all of the early childhood memories he has of ‘Charlie.’ The PLLs are just as split with Spencer and Hanna seeing this as the best chance they have to capture Charles, while Emily and Aria want to stay as far from him as possible. Will Jason be reunited with his brother, or is this just another of ‘A’s’ traps? Meanwhile, Mona is shutting Mike out and Hanna gets an unwelcomed surprise.”
ABC Family has released an official promo for “O Brother, Where Art Thou,” and right away it teases that there are three more episodes before the face-to-face with A. It looks like Spencer is going to fill Toby in on what the girls have figured out lately, but is it going to lead to him getting hurt?
Meanwhile, TVLine has shared photos from the upcoming prom episode (airing August 4), which is going to see the girls unable to attend their own prom at the school – and of course, Charles is going to have something up his sleeve, so it is “a night they will never forget.”
Pretty Little Liars Season 6 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
