It looks like Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus are involved in a bit of a social media feud. A meme that Miley shared on Instagram got herself in trouble with the “Bad Blood” singer.
On Wednesday, July 15, Cyrus jokingly posted a meme that featured Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber, but with their faces swapped. The meme added that the two would make a “cute lesbian couple.” Cyrus wasn’t the one who created the meme, but sharing it got her in some bad blood with Swift.
The singer responded to the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s post with the comment, “sending you love.” Both fans and the media claim that Taylor’s supposedly sweet response was more like a “kill them with kindness” response. Now Miley’s page is being flooded with “sending you love” comments. Some fans have remarked that Taylor is expressing her sense of humor, while others suggest that she’s not being so nice.
“Do you really think she intended it to be literal? Taylor is smart, she conveys her meaning very cleverly with words. We should look at the deeper meaning underlying her comment rather than the literal meaning. Looking at the context, it’s safe to say what Taylor was trying to say.”
Taylor’s boyfriend, Calvin Harris, and Justin Bieber’s rumored girlfriend, Selena Gomez, have nothing to worry about. Just don’t expect these singers to bake cookies and throw parties together anytime soon.
Miley Cyrus also doesn’t appear to be bothered by Taylor Swift’s icy response. She’s too busy having fun with her rumored girlfriend, Stella Maxwell. Cyrus and Maxwell were spotted on a date at Disneyland, in California. The rumored couple took a photo of themselves suggestively sharing a churro and posted it on social media, of course.
Miley also captioned the photo: “#f***yeahChurros.” Stella also uploaded the photo with the following caption: “First Churroooo.”
Cyrus also shared several photos of her and her girlfriends having fun during a recent car ride. The wacky entertainer has been spotted with the Victoria’s Secret model since late May. Cyrus and Maxwell were first caught making out on camera a few weeks, causing dating rumors to swirl.
An inside source told E! Online that Miley and Stella are just “hanging out now and they really like one another.”
Taylor Swift is no stranger to lesbian rumors. She was rumored to be in a relationship with her BFF, Karlie Kloss. Rumors swirled that Swift and Kloss were in love and moving in together. Swift took to Twitter to deny the rumors that fans claimed they made out during a 1975 concert.
As for Cyrus, she opened up to Paper magazine about being in relationships with both men and women.
