Adorable Baby Overjoyed After Putting On New Glasses And Seeing Clearly For The First Time

Eleven-month-old Piper has touched the hearts of many with her adorable reaction to seeing clearly for the first time with her brand new glasses.

Proud mom Jessica Sinclair captured Piper’s reaction at seeing her parents without the blur – and posted the clip to her Facebook page last month, writing, “Picked up her glasses. Went out to eat and put them on her. Her reaction melts my heart.”

The touching video, which has since had over 28 million views and more than 398,000 shares, shows Piper struggling at first when her mother attempted to put the glasses on. Then, when it was finally in place, her reaction quickly changed from annoyance to smiles of joy.

Sinclair, who’s from Cincinnati, Ohio, told ABC News that they had taken Piper to a pediatrician because she wasn’t crawling and discovered that the tot needed glasses.

“They thought she might have astigmatism,” said Jessica. “She didn’t but she’s extremely far-sighted and so needed glasses.”

On the day of the video, Sinclair and her partner, Andrew Verdusco, had picked up Piper’s custom-made glasses and then went out to celebrate. The rest, as they say, is heart-melting internet history.
