It seems that viewers will indeed see Teresa Giudice’s sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, on her husband’s upcoming Bravo special. On Sunday, Page Six reported that Melissa filmed a scene with Teresa’s daughters for Joe Giudice’s special. The website also reported that the special, which will show Joe and his daughters going through life without Teresa, has been expanded from a one-hour special to multiple episodes.
According to Page Six , the Real Housewives of New Jersey spin-off is already in production, with Bravo preparing multiple episodes of Joe as a single dad taking care of his four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 9, and Audriana, 5, while Teresa serves her 15-month prison sentence. The special won’t just show Joe taking care of the girls but also extended family. Scenes shot for the special include Gia’s graduation from middle school and the girls getting manis/pedis with their aunt, Melissa.
That may not have been the only scene that Melissa filmed for the special. Viewers may also see the Gorga and Giudice clan at a beach or a pool. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Melissa last week posted a photo of her three children hanging out with Teresa’s daughters, with everyone in swim attire.
Will the special also show Melissa Gorga being in contact with Teresa Giudice, perhaps even visiting her at prison? Maybe not. In March, Melissa told Good Day New York that she has yet to contact or visit Teresa because Teresa is reserving all of her free time for her immediate family.
In an interview with Us Weekly in late June, Joe said that his days of taking care of the four girls without Teresa are hectic.
“Days go by quick. They go to school, they come back, they do their homework. Who’s gotta go here? Who’s gotta go there?”
He also revealed that the four girls sometimes have “little breakdowns” over missing their mom.
“They have their little breakdowns here and there. They’ll say, ‘Daddy, when’s she going to be out?’ Or ‘I miss Mommy.’ I just make sure to give them lots of love and a lot of kisses.”
In March, Joe, who will serve his 41-month prison sentence once Teresa gets out, told Extra! that he appreciates Teresa more now that he realizes all that she did for the family.
“When you have four kids you have to stay strong. Her being away definitely makes me appreciate her way more, a lot more, and you know everything she did.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen revealed in early July that he has been e-mailing Teresa Giudice and that she seems to be doing well. As for Joe Giudice’s special, Andy didn’t give any information and said that he has nothing to do with it .
