Ramona Singer Discusses Husband Mario In New Book, See The Cover [Photo]
Ramona Singer’s new book hits bookshelves later this month (July 28), and ahead of the big release, People Magazine shared a few details about what fans can expect of Life On The Ramona Coaster.
As fans of The Real Housewives of New York City have seen, Ramona Singer is currently in the midst of a divorce from her husband, Mario Singer. In 2013, reports surfaced, claiming Mario was having an affair with a woman named Kasey Dexter, who was in her 30s. Months later, in January, 2014, Ramona Singer allegedly caught Mario and Kasey together at their home in the Hamptons. From there, the couple attempted to work on their marriage, but by summer, 2014, Mario and Kasey had reunited, and Ramona Singer ended the relationship for good.
In her book, Ramona Singer recalled the beginning of the end of her marriage to Mario.
“The person Mario is right now standing in front of me is not the person he was three years ago.”
According to Ramona Singer, Mario turned into someone she barely recognized, and while she attempted to help him work through his issues, she could only do so much.
“He’s always had sometimes this negative energy and I would push him to be more positive, but after a certain point how much can I push him? I couldn’t fix him. He’s not happy. He’s just not happy as a person.”
The report claimed Ramona Singer looked back on one particular instance, when she and her daughter, Avery, were preparing for Avery to leave for college. At the time, Singer recalled, Mario appeared uninterested and completely detached from the situation.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Ramona Singer also opened up about her failed marriage and soon-to-be ex-husband, Mario, in an interview last week. Speaking to People Magazine on July 9, Ramona Singer claimed Mario felt “left behind” by her reality television fame.
“I think he felt that we were no longer a team. It was my success as a celebrity reality star and notoriety that bothered him. If someone said, ‘Can I take a photo with Ramona?’ or interrupted our conversation at dinner, he would get upset.”
