Candis Cayne: Caitlyn Jenner Rumored To Be Dating Transgender Actress Candis Cayne

Is Candis Cayne Caitlyn Jenner’s new love interest? According to Hollywood Life, there are several reports floating around that suggest Candis, a transgender actress, and Caitlyn have been seeing each other since meeting in New York City at a Pride event a few weeks ago. The blonde beauty, best known for her role on ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money, and Caitlyn are just starting to get to know each other, but sources say that they are already in love.

If the rumors are true, this is the first relationship that Caitlyn has been in since her transition. Caitlyn previously said that she was still attracted to women, and that her sexual orientation wasn’t going to change just because she was changing her sex.

So who is Candis Cayne, exactly?

The actress — who has been in multiple TV shows, and a few movies — was born as Brendan McDaniel. She started her transition in 1996, and has since become an advocate for the LGBT community, not unlike Caitlyn Jenner. Candis is also a professionally trained dancer. She has previously worked in New York City as a choreographer and a drag performer, according to the report.

Candis isn’t a new name to the Kardashian/Jenner families, either. Apparently she has met — and hung out with — Kris Jenner, who just happens to be Caitlyn’s ex-wife.

“In 2014, Candis actually hung out with Caitlyn’s ex-wife, Kris Jenner, 59, and her most famous daughter, Kim Kardashian, 34. She spent some time with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars, posing for photos together on the red carpet for an Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation event last year.”

Candis Cayne and Caitlyn Jenner haven’t confirmed their relationship, but sources say that they are bonding over common ground. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Candis has had a great supporter in her twin brother, Dylan McDaniel, and says that her family has stuck by her through her transition.

“He was fine with it. I have been fortunate enough to not lose any family members from my transition. But seriously, it was more comfortable for [him] that I had not changed mentally, just physically,” Candis said of Dylan.

Caitlyn, of course, is also fortunate to have her family’s support at this time. According to Access Hollywood, Caitlyn’s son, Brody Jenner, spoke out about his dad, and it sounds like he’s completely supportive of Caitlyn.

“Dad is doing great. Happier than ever… Bruce was harboring a lot of secrets, and I think that now Caitlyn is a much happier person and a much freer person. Life really is so short and you have to live it the way you wanna live it, and not worry about acceptance. It’s so short, and it’s a gift and you gotta embrace who you really are.”
