T In The Park: Noel Gallagher Impresses Yet Again, Could He Be Headlining Next Year’s Glastonbury?
Noel Gallagher’s T in the Park brought the curtain down after its first year at the Strathallan Castle estate in Perthshire. Gallagher was well received by fans whom were also treated to performances from the Stereophonics and The Prodigy.
T in the Park’s director, Geoff Ellis, revealed that the move to the Strathallan site resulted in a phenomenal atmosphere.
“We may have a moved house but our fans have come with us – the crowd has been phenomenal and full of energy – all the acts have been commenting on it too.”
Noel Gallagher’s performance blew away fans and ensured for a night to remember in historic T in the Park.

Prior to headlining T in the Park, Noel Gallagher spoke about Kanye West’s Glastonbury performance.
Noel Gallagher has been highly critical of hip-hop artist Kanye West in the past. It came to the surprise of many that Gallagher spoke highly of West’s Glastonbury headline set.
“I thought for half an hour it was f****** outrageous. It looked amazing on my iPad, I have to say for 30 minutes I thought, ‘Wow, this is truly f******* amazing’.”

However, Gallagher conceded that after 45 minutes he became bored of the performance.
“Then, like most hip-hop gigs, after 45 minutes you’re going, ‘I want something else now’. But for half an hour it was as good as it gets.”
Noel Gallagher’s T in the Park performance could thrust him into the fray of headlining next year’s Glastonbury.
“I’m f****** full on, flat out busy. I’m always free for Glastonbury weekend, if anybody is watching.”
