Intern Note Viral: Intern Leaves Jaw-Dropping Note To Bosses, Gets Fired As Note Goes Viral [Photo]
Being an intern isn’t always an easy task. In most cases, it’s a position that usually requires lots of legwork and little to no compensation because the experience is typically the most important aspect of the job. While internships can also open doors to permanent positions that are much more gratifying, one intern blew his chances of ever being considered a full-time employee for one company.
Apparently, the intern was absolutely fed up with his bosses, and decided to make his frustrations known. Although venting is usually therapeutic, this guy quickly learned that his actions came with grave consequences because he was immediately fired after making his sentiments known. He may have gotten his point across but, now he’s looking for a new job.
According to Opposing Views, this intern wrote a scathing note on a sticky tab for all of his bosses to see. He refused to be bossed around any longer and made it clear that he was absolutely done with the unfulfilling position. He also concluded with a shocking admission about the coffee he’d been delivering every day. Apparently, he added more than sugar and cream. He also included spit.
“By the time you read this, I’ll be gone from this s**thole,” the intern wrote. “I hope you enjoyed bossing me around. I bet you felt real good about yourself. Well I wonder how you feel now knowing I spat in your coffee every day.”
Although the intern has been fired, he just couldn’t help sharing his small victory with the world. On July 8, a sequence of photos showing the infamous lime green sticky tab and shocking note were uploaded to Imgur.
In just four days, the photos of the note have gone viral with more than 400,000 views. Surprisingly, many viewers actually sympathize with the intern and actually understand his frustrations, but some insist he took things a bit too far and should have been more professional instead of making a grand exit.
Do you applaud the intern for slamming his bosses or did he take things a bit too far? Share your thoughts.
